A special thank you to Judge Heinz Rudolf of the St. Clair County Circuit Court for taking time away from his busy docket to administer the Illinois attorney's oath to our associate, Libby Rathert. We are also grateful for the meaningful keepsake Judge Rudolf presented to commemorate the occasion and the proud traditions of the legal profession.

The Illinois Judges Association congratulates Ms. Elizabeth "Libby" Rathert on taking the oath of office and officially joining the legal profession.

The entire St. Clair County judiciary extend their sincere gratitude to Ms. Erin Winn of the Illinois Courts, Illinois Supreme Court Justice David K. Overstreet, and the Illinois Supreme Court for the opportunity to administer Libby's oath of office.

Adding to this memorable occasion, IJA Officer Heinz Rudolf presented Libby with one of the few remaining handcrafted gavels created by Judge Andreas "Andy" Matoesian, the longest-serving judge in Illinois—a meaningful symbol of the tradition, integrity, and service that define our judiciary.

This morning KT associate, Libby Rathert, was officially sworn in as a member of the Illinois Bar by Judge Heinz Rudolf in St. Clair County, IL. Libby focuses her practice on defending physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice and professional liability matters.
