Armstrong Teasdale Partners Glen Waldman and Jeff Lam recently secured a landmark settlement for residents of the Biscayne 21 condominium against developer Two Roads Development. The settlement ends a protracted saga over the termination and demolition of the 61-year-old tower building located on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay in Miami.
The developer had already terminated the condominium and begun demolition efforts when the holdout residents hired Armstrong Teasdale to sue the developer and save the condominium, arguing that Two Roads illegally lowered the required approval threshold for terminating the condo association. After Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal ruled in the residents’ favor and the Florida Supreme Court rejected the developer’s appeal in October 2025, the Miami-Dade Circuit Court declared the termination invalid and ordered the developer to restore the condominium and the residents’ units to their original condition.
