After spending last summer with us as members of our 2025 Summer Associate Class, we’re excited to welcome them back as they begin their legal careers at Sandberg Phoenix.

We're growing! Sandberg Phoenix is excited to welcome Toby Baldwin as Counsel and announce the opening of our new office in Duncan, Oklahoma, our 12th location!✨🎉

With more than 25 years of experience in collegiate athletics, NIL, athlete opportunities, and institutional strategy, Toby brings a unique perspective to our growing sports law practice. His practice will focus primarily on sports law and estate planning, including helping families and family farms plan for the future and navigate generational transitions.

Toby joins us following his role as Executive Associate Athletics Director for Name, Image and Likeness and Operational Advancement at the University of Oklahoma. His arrival comes as our sports law capabilities continue to grow, including through the launch of Algorithm, Sandberg Phoenix's athlete representation and marketing agency. Together, these efforts strengthen our ability to support athletes and other participants across the evolving sports economy.

Our offices recently got a little nostalgic with a “Snack Attack” hosted by our firm's Fun Committee! Since it's back-to-school season, we wanted to join in on the fun and celebrate the last few weeks of summer by bringing back some of our favorite school-day snacks and treats.

Gushers, Cosmic Brownies, Oatmeal Pies, Nutty Buddys, Mini Muffins and more made an appearance! 🍫🧁🍪 Needless to say, there were plenty of childhood favorites to go around.

We’ve added a new, interactive wall decal to our downtown St. Louis office, and it’s already a favorite! Our "Vibe Check" wall features fun prompts that give members a chance to share their answers on the whiteboards, spark conversations and, of course, have a few laughs along the way with their colleagues. ✍️😂

It’s a simple way to connect with colleagues, learn something new and bring a little more fun into the workday. We’re loving the vibes! 💙

The wall also honors the Chris Weaver Values Champion, created to commemorate the life and legacy of Chris Weaver, who embodied each of these values every day.
