In this video, divorce attorney Jennifer Rench talks about an uncontested divorce in Missouri. This can be referred to as a "kitchen table divorce" because the spouses reach agreements outside of court and without an attorney assisting with the negotiations. When a lawyer is assisting in an uncontested divorce, the steps are:

1. Spouses discuss and resolve all divorce issues.
2. One spouse hires an attorney to draft the agreements and file the divorce case in court.
3. The attorney submits all the required documents to the judge.
4. The judge enters a Divorce Judgment, also known as a Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage.
