I know it's just the beginning of the week, but wanted to make sure you knew of two fun events coming up this weekend.
For our St. Charles area friends, the Walk to End Alzheimer's is this Saturday. You can go online and sign up with our team to walk or just show up that morning and register. Donations are always welcomed!

Saturday is also Oktoberfest in Frontier Park. As members of the St. Charles Regional Chamber, we will be volunteering during the event and plan to catch some of the exciting events, including the absolutely adorable Weiner Dog race! It's not too late to join the Fight to End Alzheimer's. This Saturday we walk to support those with the disease and to raise funds for research. Every year we discover possible contributing factors to those getting the disease, as well as promising tests and treatments. Hope to see you there!

Where were you when 9/11 happened? I remember it so clearly and know that it will remain as one of my top memories. Astonishing to learn that just over 25% of our US population wasn't even born yet.
I hope those of us who remember that horrible day will remind our younger family members of the evil that happened and how our country pulled together in the weeks and months that followed. May we never forget those innocent lives lost and their families who still grieve. God bless America!

Our attorneys and guests were blessed to hear O'Reilly Auto Parts CEO, Brad Beckham, speak at the 31st Annual Ministry to Men Prayer Breakfast this morning. It is always inspiring to hear how someone can overcome significant personal hurdles, learn from business failures and surrender to God to become so successful and yet remain humble.
