REMINDER: Last week of The City of Fayetteville canned food drive for misdemeanor warrant amnesty. The event ends on November 19th.
In lieu of posting a bond, we ask that those turning themselves in bring a non-perishable food item. At the end of the amnesty period, the items brought will be donated to local homeless outreach programs. Get your warrant(s) taken care of so you can have a less stressful holiday season and help those in need!
Examples of warrants that qualify for amnesty include but are not limited to: failure to appear on traffic offenses, parking summons, and criminal summons.
Warrants that do not qualify for amnesty include but are not limited to: felony warrants, warrants from other police departments, and warrants for violent offenses, domestic battery, battery 3rd, harassing communications, and harassment.
If you want to check on your warrant status or see if you qualify for amnesty, call our Warrants Division at 479-575-8344.
If you would like to donate and don’t have a warrant, you can drop off non-perishable items to the police department during the canned food drive.
