🐴✨ It’s officially **Mule Day season in Columbia! ✨🐴
Did you know this isn’t just a weekend event… it’s a full week of celebration in the heart of Mule Town stretching across all of Maury County? 🙌
But one of my favorite parts? The traditions you don’t always see advertised…
Just across the pasture from me, neighbors (near and far) gather with their wagons and horse trailers for a week-long campout leading up to Mule Day. Fires burning, stories being shared, and families and friends simply enjoying time together—it’s truly something special. ❤️
And honestly… these photos I snapped from my yard and on my evening walks don’t even begin to capture the size and scale of it.
Then, they saddle up and set off together on the wagon train, making their way into town and toward the park to kick off the festivities.
It’s one of those moments that just feels like stepping back in time—and a reminder of the strong roots and community we’re so lucky to have here.
From small-town charm to big-time traditions, Mule Day brings our community together with:
🎉 A lively downtown parade
🎶 Live music & entertainment
🛍️ Local vendors, crafts & food trucks
🐴 Mule shows & competitions (a true Columbia tradition!)
🍔 Some of the best fair food you’ll find all year
It’s one of those events that reminds you exactly why people love living here. ❤️
Whether you’ve gone every year or it’s your first time, it’s an exciting week filled with community, history, and a whole lot of fun.
👉 If you’re thinking about making a move to Middle TN, this is the kind of hometown feel you can expect.
