s. Our services are affordable AND reliable. CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY, also known as the "fresh start," is the most common form of bankruptcy. This allows you to eliminate most of your unsecured debts (medical, credit cards, etc.) while allowing you to retain your property. Some debt is NOT dischargeable, including student loans, most taxes, domestic support obligations, and certain court fees. You will likely be able to retain your car and your home, provided you are current on the payments. CHAPTER 13 BANKRUPTCY, also known as the "wage earner," is filed most commonly when: (1) a bankruptcy proceeding was already filed for you in the last 8 years, (2) you are behind on your home and/or car and wish to catch up the missed payments, (3) you make over a specific dollar amount per year, or (4) you have too much property that you wish to keep. 🚨 **Spokane, we need our community now more than ever.** ❤️📚

As families affected by the Spokane Complex Fire begin the difficult process of rebuilding, many parents are facing an impossible reality: **school starts soon, and their children have lost so much.**

No child should have to walk into their first day of school worried about not having the basics they need.

We're launching a **Community School Supply Drive** to help students affected by the fire start the school year with confidence and hope.

🎒 We are collecting:
✏️ Backpacks
📓 Notebooks
🖍️ Crayons, markers & colored pencils
✂️ Scissors
🖊️ Pens & pencils
🧴 Hand sanitizer & tissues
📁 Folders, binders & paper
🎧 Headphones
🎁 Gift cards for school clothing and supplies

If your business, organization, or family would like to donate, sponsor a child, or become a collection site, we'd love your support.

If your family has been affected by the fire and your children need school supplies, please reach out or comment below. This is a judgment-free space, and our community is here to help.

We could be a hub to take the donations.

Let's show these kids that even after unimaginable loss, they are surrounded by a community that cares.

❤️ **Please share this post so we can reach as many families and donors as possible. Together, we can help every child start the school year with hope.**

⚠️ Old Trails Fire (Euclid Fire) Update – Resources for Our Community

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by today’s fast-moving wildfire. If you are under a Level 3 (“Go Now!”) evacuation order, leave immediately and follow instructions from emergency officials.

Current shelters include:
🏠 Spokane Falls Community College (Small Gym) – 3410 W. Whistalks Way (evacuation shelter)
🏠 Northwood Middle School – 12908 N. Pittsburg St. (additional evacuation shelter)
🐶 Spokane County Fairgrounds – Large and small animal shelter

The fire has grown to more than 2,500 acres, driven by dangerous winds, with mandatory evacuations affecting neighborhoods in northwest Spokane, Riverside State Park, the Dwight Merkel Sports Complex, portions of the West Plains, and the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. Thousands remain without power as firefighters continue to battle extremely challenging conditions. (Reddit)

If you are safe and able to help:
❤️ Check in on neighbors, especially older adults and people with disabilities.
📱 Share only information from official emergency sources.
🚗 Stay clear of evacuation routes unless you are evacuating.
🎒 Be prepared to leave quickly if conditions change.

Please continue to monitor official evacuation alerts and emergency management updates, as fire conditions and evacuation boundaries are changing rapidly.

To everyone affected—and to the firefighters, law enforcement, emergency medical teams, utility crews, and volunteers working tirelessly to protect our community—thank you. Spokane is strongest when we look out for one another.

🚨Heads up, the US National Weather Service Spokane Washington is forecasting scattered thunderstorms across the Inland Northwest today (Thursday), with the most active weather expected from 2 p.m. to midnight. Some storms could bring damaging winds, heavy rain and lightning.

High winds can bring down trees or branches and cause power outages. Now is a good time to get ready. Visit myavista.com/outage to learn more.

Here are ways to prepare for a possible outage:
✔️Charge phones, backup batteries and other essentials before the storm moves in.
✔️Keep flashlights, fresh batteries and a portable radio in an easy-to-find place.
✔️Make sure you have water, food, medications and pet supplies on hand.
✔️If you rely on electrically powered medical equipment, have a backup plan in place.
✔️Stay away from downed power lines and report outages when it is safe to do so.
