PLEASE NOTE: The SMC Paralegal Certificate Program is no longer accepting new students. We thank the Upstate legal community for supporting our program, students and graduates since 1997. We especially thank the multiple judges, attorneys and paralegals who shared their time and talents teaching in our evening program. We commend the hundreds of women and men who dedicated their time and efforts to not only better their lives through legal education but also vastly improve the delivery of legal services to the Upstate community. It has been a privilege to serve each of you. We encourage any prospective students to contact the SMC Admission Office to learn about associate degrees offered at the College.

Real Estate (Title Search): Students will be introduced to the procedures involved in title examination, and will perform assigned title searches. Instruction includes demonstration of the interactions of probate law and civil litigation with title searching.
