New York partner, Tom Keely, joined us to help expand our customer base this week
Senior partner, Ned Meagher, spoke to 35 startups at Tech Fort Worth discussing processes of patents, copyright and trademarks as well as the necessary initial steps to protect their companys’ IP.
It was a week of major networking with key tech companies, founders and innovators. The Southlake Foundation hosted its first AI Summit, which was a resounding success, drawing a diverse audience from various cities in North Texas. This event is part of the Industry Insights Summit Series, a key component of the Foundation's vision to establish Southlake and Westlake as leading hubs for innovation, collaboration, and business growth.
During the Summit, a forward-thinking panel led by moderator Shawn McCaskill, along with industry experts Elizabeth McCalley.eth 🦋, Daniel P. ,Scott Orr, CFA, Muru Murugappan and Ovidio Montemayer, delved into the profound impact of AI on daily life, particularly in the realms of Fintech and Healthcare.
The event also showcased innovative startups in the AI sector, with entrepreneurs like Dan Sinawat, Nick James, Priya Patel, PharmD, MBA, Frank Enriquez, Sapan Bafna, Solomon Tsao and Prasad Pillai presenting their groundbreaking business concepts.

The evening culminated with a keynote address by Ed Curtis who highlighted the remarkable and sustained growth of businesses in Texas, emphasizing the state's appeal, abundant business opportunities, and positive environment that attracts and retains talent.

Great representation of Carter DeLuca - Intellectual Property Counsel partners from New York, Virginia and Dallas at the long-awaited YTexas Summit at ATT Stadium. Ed Curtis and his mindful crew did a stupendous job joining a variety of businesses in medtech, innovation, AI, investment, universities, entrepreneurship, aerospace, economic development, public offices and much more.
Vested networking and collaborative missions were the mainstay of the day connecting eager people in TEXAS! We were ALL-IN.
The abundance of panel discussions were very informative, and the main stage robust entertainment with famous ball players, cheerleaders, and high level executives.
Great conversations, super connections - my pockets are full of business cards, email and LinkedIn invitations!
