$25,000 in down payment assistance… sounds great, right?

But what most agents won’t tell you is it’s only for a small group of buyers. Programs like the Detroit Down Payment Assistance won’t even look at you until you already have a deal under contract, and there are income restrictions that are frequently explained incorrectly.
