A 2025 survey by caring.com found that only 1 in 4 Americans currently have an estate plan in place. Shockingly, parents with minor children comprise the largest cohort of those. We believe that needs to change!

As lawyer Michael Hackard says, "It is a common belief that we have plenty of time to do estate planning. None of us like to think that our time is short. Postponing the estate plan seems entirely consistent with our assumptions that we have a long life to live."

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Awareness is important, but knowing where to find help matters, too.

If cost, insurance coverage, transportation, or access has made it harder to schedule a breast cancer screening, there are resources right here in Massachusetts.

The 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 helps eligible low-income, uninsured and underinsured Massachusetts residents access free breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services. The program can also help with barriers like transportation, childcare, scheduling appointments and understanding test results.

AI can draft something that looks exactly like a will.

That's not the same as building an estate plan.

A document can hold a name - "I name my sister as executor." It has no way of knowing your sister lives three states away, or that the brother nearby is terrible with paperwork, or that the guardian you picked a decade ago isn't the right choice anymore.

AI knows 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 and 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯. It doesn't do 𝘩𝘰𝘸 or 𝘸𝘩𝘺.
