We've got good news and inconvenient news, everyone!

The good news? The Family Activity Center will still be open during regular business hours!

The inconvenient news? Our server is currently down, and unfortunately, we won't be able to have a technician out to fix it until Monday. 😔

In the meantime, the Family Activity Center will remain open, but we will only be able to accept cash payments until our system is back up and running.

We know that may be annoying, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding! We'll do our best to keep things running as smoothly as possible while we wait for the fix.

Thanks for bearing with us!

We've received a few questions about the recent change in wait times at South Weber City's traffic signal near Maverik.

UDOT has confirmed that an issue with the signal is causing it to run the maximum allotted time for each direction, resulting in longer-than-usual waits at the intersection.

UDOT is aware of the issue and is currently planning to have someone out to address it, most likely early next week.

We appreciate everyone's patience in the meantime and will share additional information if it becomes available.

School is back in session, and with that comes our annual reminder on crosswalk safety!

•SLOW DOWN!!!

•Stop means STOP.

•Use your blinkers.

•Watch for pedestrians. Especially small ones.

•Don’t use your phone PERIOD, but especially not in a school zone.

•Pay attention to the speed limit. If the lights are flashing, it’s time to step off the gas pedal.

•If there’s someone in the middle of the crosswalk, no part of your vehicle should be on the zebra stripes. It doesn’t matter if you’re going straight, left, up, down, or diagonal…stay off the zebra stripes! You will be pulled over.

•Teach your children to stop at the corner and wait for the Crossing Guards to come and get them.

•Keep an eye out for any pedestrians. I know we already listed this, but we need to reiterate it. Don’t get distracted!

•Remember that the people crossing the roads are human beings. The children, parents, crossing guards etc. have families and loved ones who they need to get home to safely every day. Pay attention to what’s going on around you and put the safety of yours and those around you at the forefront of your mind.

We hope you have a fun, and safe, school year!
