📢 Important Update for Texas Property Managers & Landlords

HUD has updated its guidance on assistance animals. Going forward, housing providers are no longer required to waive pet policies for untrained emotional support animals (ESAs). HUD will now focus on animals trained to perform disability-related tasks when evaluating accommodation requests.

Be sure to review current policies and consult legal counsel before making any lease changes.
