If you live in Carson Valley you have probably driven past this place many times. It is worth it to check this place out for somw lunch and maybe you will get lucky and win back the money you spent on lunch. It could be a win win. You never know. Either ways its a good time.

Had to go out the Sparks for some Real estate classes and as I am driving back I see this.

Hey California we would really like it if you could stop catching on fire. Or please keep it to yourself. I hope this one's is stopped before it gets near Reno. Kind of crazy how many fires have started in this area so far.

I have been the director of Operations for a vacation rental company for the past 4 years. I have learned a lot about every single aspect of this business. That knowledge paired with my real estate and market trend knowledge. I know a think or 2 about vacation rentals.

If you also want to know more about owning vacation rentals in the Tahoe area stay tuned. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Don't forget to have your yearly backflow test done. Not all homes have this. If you have a sprinkler system, irrigation, pool, or well for irrigation you might have a blackflow that needs to be tested yearly to make sure your Nonpotble water doesn't go into the clean water for drinking. Just another added yearly expenses for some homes not all.

Airbnb tip for traveling to Tahoe after burning man.

I did not sleep well at all and I had to come up and deal with an RV situation today at one of the homes I help manage. I gave the guests a ride so they can move their RV expained it all to them they had no idea how strict Tahoe is on VHR homes. Please, when your host reaches out to you, answer the phone and text them back.

Be bear aware when you are in Tahoe. Tahoe is a safe place but Bears like to go inhomes and try to find food. They are getting ready for winter so please lock the wildlife out. Thank you. Keep the bears wild. Also never leave trash in the house. Mistakes were made here by a new housekeeper. Now they know how important it is. This is why we do checks on properties when they are not in use.

Rainy day thinking and driving. I was communicating back to the valley and had this realization I wanted to share.

It's been 5 years since the Caldor fire swept through the western Sierras. Feels like only yesterday.
