Day 2 of AILA Annual Conference. San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria extended a warm welcome and reaffirmed his commitment to protecting immigrant rights, drawing from his own diverse immigrant background (Filipino, Puerto Rican, Dutch and Native American grandparents). AILA's new president, Alexis Axelrad, and AILA board members discussed key issues in immigration and the numerous legal challenges to current policies.
