If you enjoy helping people uncover the information they need, conducting archival research, and connecting researchers with Utah’s history, this could be the perfect fit for you! This position provides reference assistance by phone, email, and in person while helping facilitate access to the Utah State Archives’ permanent collections. 🤓

The Reference Archivist will also help create finding and access tools, outreach resources, and other materials that make it easier for researchers to discover and use Utah’s records.

We saw everything from total destruction to miraculously unchanged areas. All in all we did well. We only lost a single outhouse and lots of trees in a couple a family favorite camping sights and lots of fence.
