The South Hadley Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 70-year-old Susan Barnard.

Susan was last seen on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM. She was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt, jeans, and blue sneakers. She is believed to be driving a blue 2023 Hyundai Elantra
Massachusetts Registration: 7AR215.

Winning the 50/50 raffle was fun, but knowing my winnings will help Sheila Adams and Operation Backpack was even better! Sheila has been working tirelessly for more than 12 years to provide backpacks and school supplies to children in South Hadley and Granby—and I’m so happy to support her wonderful mission. 🎒♥️

Eight years ago, Carly and Mac bought their first home in Chicopee, and today they’re settling into their forever home in Granby.

During those seven years, they became homeowners, became parents, and are now getting ready to welcome another little one into the world. What an incredible journey it has been!

I’d say this entire adventure made all of us a little stronger, and it definitely gave Carly plenty of job security, considering she’s been fighting a losing battle against my gray hair all these years, this transaction probably created a whole lot of new ones! 😆

Congratulations to the Griffins! Wishing you both and your growing family a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness, and wonderful memories in your beautiful new home. 🏡 ♥️

Lock boxes are going to be made available in May, and you can sign up now at the Senior Center! Now through the month of May, sign ups will be taken for $10. After May it will be $25 per box. This discount is sponsored by the Friends of the South Hadley Seniors!

A kick off event will happen May 1st at the Senior Center from 9:00-10:30 for anyone with questions.

Lock boxes are important tools that the fire department has access to so we can gain entry if you can’t answer your door. They’re secure and cannot be broken into but could make all the difference in an emergency!
