I spent the day thinking of 9/11 and how it impacted the families of the lost, us as a nation, and how it changed the way we operate on the world stage. I thought of those who were children when it happened, who grew to serve in the military in Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s been 25 years and it feels not so long ago.
