It's been a minute since I posted anything like this. For this gentleman, he is on the side of a hill in a fire-risk location. His current policy was only around $2k, but his carrier was dropping him. Nobody could quote him. His Fair Plan and supplemental quotes totaled $7k. Other surplus line carriers had him around $5k. But I was able to place him with an A-rated carrier for under $2500! What he liked most, besides the great rate, was that I was able to give him a clear explanation as to why the insurance business in CA is the way it is right now as well as what his policy covers and doesn't cover. Not all are this fast, but we had this concluded the next day with underwriting approval. 🦸‍♂️[email protected]
