ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Family Law Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated attorney with experience, or a strong interest, in family law. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Somerset, New Jersey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases
Draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence
Appear in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
Maintain strong communication and personalized support for clients
Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and case management
Stay current on New Jersey family law statutes and procedures

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

J.D. and active New Jersey Bar license
Minium of 1 year of experience (experience in family law or judicial clerkship is a plus)
Excellent litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
Comfortable with frequent courtroom appearances and direct client interaction
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain productivity in a hybrid work environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and case management systems

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary: $95,000– $120,000, commensurate with experience
