Did you know 15% of the proceeds from Happy Meals and french fries help fund Ronald McDonald House? 🍟❤️

Yesterday, John L. Scott Snohomish had the opportunity to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle, and it’s hard to put into words how impactful this place truly is. In case you didn’t know, they support families with children receiving intense medical treatment who live more than 45 miles away from the hospital, giving them a place to stay at zero or reduced cost so they can be close to their kids when it matters most. 🏥👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a full support system. The house includes 105 rooms that can each sleep up to six people, a theater 🎬, craft room 🎨, indoor and outdoor play areas 🛝, a teen room, exercise space 💪, free laundry facilities, and more. There’s also a food pantry and kitchens where families can prepare their own meals, plus breakfast and dinner are served daily along with snacks.

That’s where we came in. We prepared and packaged 100+ grab-and-go dinners including BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and molasses cookies so families could eat whenever it worked best for them. 🍗🍪

Walking through the facility and seeing firsthand what they provide for families going through incredibly difficult times was genuinely moving. This is the kind of place that restores your faith in people. ❤️

We’ll absolutely be back. 🙌
