I have a repeat Apostille client in my notary business that oftentimes needs documents used outside the USA, which I can easily facilitate. Her most recent apostille was a Power Of Attorney for her brother, so she could help him buy real estate in South America.
Yesterday, she went to the airport and the TSA turned her away as she was taking her 8 yr old son with her!
Her husband was not going on the trip, so officials require a "permission slip" allowing one parent to take the child out of the country. She had to re-book their flights and she called me urgently to arrange a notarization of this important document. I was able to complete this right away!
