Registration for the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program (LFHP) lottery opens June 1 at 8:00 a.m. and closes June 19 at 5:00 p.m.

This program provides grants of up to $10,000 to help homeowners strengthen their roofs to better withstand hurricane-force winds by meeting the IBHS FORTIFIED Roof Standard.

✅ Grants cover eligible construction costs up to $10,000
✅ Additional parishes and areas are now eligible, including portions of St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes
✅ Homeowners who applied in a previous round but were not selected must register again

After registration closes, 3,000 participants will be selected through a random lottery. Email notifications will begin going out on June 22.
