Last night, Rella Associates Michael Catallo, David Tomack, Zachary Ankier, Alexander Ankier, and Jennifer Giovannetti were honored to be guests at the NYCD Emerald Society Inc. NYCD EMERALD SOCIETY Inc.'s 66th Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance, where we were able to celebrate with many of our current and former clients. Congrats to all the recipients, and thank you to all the Emerald Society members for what you do out there!!

Our hearts go out to Assistant Chief Brooks' family during this time. Rella Attorney David Tomack has served for over 15 years as a volunteer firefighter, and understands what can happen when doing your duty to your fire district. What happened here is unacceptable and we will fight every day to prevent rulings like this.

As they say in the fire service, "Rest Easy, Brother." We will continue to fight to make sure the rights of ALL injured workers, including our first responders (be they volunteer or paid) are properly addressed and advocated for,. New article showing a family prevail over an initially-error-ridden ruling by the Workers' Compensation Board. Our goal is that this ruling by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court is the beginning of a positive trend toward workers' rights!
