The Hard Questions We Get Asked in Criminal Cases and What You Should Know

We hear these questions all the time:

✅ You are not required to answer police questions without a lawyer present. Even if you’re trying to clear your name, what you say can still be used against you. Politely ask for an attorney, it’s your right.

✅ Pleading guilty can carry lifelong consequences, not just jail or fines, but your job, housing, and even your ability to hunt or drive. Always talk to a lawyer before agreeing to anything in court.

✅ One mistake doesn’t define you, but how you respond to it might. The earlier you get legal advice, the more control you have over the outcome.

****VERDICT ALERT****

Not guilty on all charges.

After being accused of simple assault, interfering with emergency communications and contributing to the abuse of children, Ashley and Kasey secured a not guilty verdict for our client on all charges. Today was a good day for justice. It is always great to have a few moments after the verdict with your client.

Olivier Miles Holtz is seeking a self-motivated, diligent and professionally minded full-time legal/office assistant to work in a litigation law office. Wages will be dependent upon experience.

A successful candidate will have knowledge and a willingness to conduct all administrative duties to include electronic filing, copying, scanning, scheduling and handling phone calls. The candidate must be self-motivated to be cognizant of deadlines and prioritize tasks to manage files.

Qualifications include computer proficiency, including the use of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. A candidate must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and directness is expected.
