Samantha and Clark opened their hearts 15 months ago to a toddler through Lifeline Harbor Familes. They had no intention of adopting, but then life happened. They and their children fell in love with this precious little guy and with his birthmother too! The birthmother selflessly decided that adoption was the best decision she could make as his mother. And that is exactly what has happened! The birthmother stood strong in doing what she believed was best....the birth father would not or could not take the steps needed to be a part of his life...the Judge agreed with adoption, and this precious little boy is now in the secure loving family that every child deserves, and his birthmother has the love and embrace of what has become an extended family relationship in an open adoption.
