True

The state of Arizona is one of the most unintentionally hilarious, aggressively weather-confused, and proudly desert-powered places in the entire United States — and the people who live there will absolutely defend it while standing outside in 112-degree heat saying,
"It's a dry heat." 🌵☀️💀
Arizona runs on desert sunsets, air conditioning, mountain views, monsoon storms, endless road trips, Mexican food, and people who somehow survive touching a seatbelt that's been baking in the sun for eight hours. 🌞😭
Unlike states with one clear personality, Arizona completely changes depending on where you go.
Southern Arizona brings Tucson's laid-back vibe, towering saguaros, Sonoran Desert beauty, and some of the best sunsets you'll ever see. 🌵🌄
Central Arizona turns into Phoenix traffic, booming suburbs, spring training, golf courses, and everyone arguing over which taco shop is the best. 🌆🌮
Northern Arizona suddenly feels like a different state entirely, with pine forests, Flagstaff snow, the Grand Canyon, red rocks in Sedona, and temperatures that make visitors wonder if they accidentally crossed a state line. 🏔️❄️
And then there's the weather.
Arizona weather doesn't believe in moderation.
Winter is perfect.
Spring lasts about three days.
Summer turns the entire state into the inside of an air fryer.
And monsoon season shows up with dust storms, lightning, flash floods, and enough drama to make the evening news every night. 🌩️🌵💀
One morning: • bright blue skies • perfect sunrise • peaceful desert views
By dinner: • 30 mph winds • a wall of dust rolling toward Phoenix • lightning in every direction • and somebody standing outside saying,
"We needed the rain anyway." 😭
Every Arizonan develops the same survival instincts: • park in the shade no matter how far away it is • keep sunglasses within arm's reach • never touch a steering wheel without checking it first • know exactly when monsoon season starts • and carry water everywhere. 💧☀️
And then there's the driving.
Arizona highways are powered by construction, tourists, RVs, lifted trucks, and at least one driver doing 95 mph across the desert like they're qualifying for NASCAR. 🚗💀
Loop 101 and I-10 feel like daily endurance events.
Meanwhile, someone is always braking for absolutely no reason. 😭
Construction season also never really ends.
Arizona just keeps moving orange cones around Phoenix so nobody gets too comfortable. 🚧🌵
But Arizona's real strength comes from the people.
These are people who: • hike before sunrise • celebrate when it drops below 100° • spend weekends exploring lakes, canyons, and ghost towns • proudly recommend local Mexican restaurants to everyone • and think a four-hour drive to the Grand Canyon is completely normal. 🚙❤️
Arizona is an incredible combination of: • giant saguaros • breathtaking sunsets • red rocks • the Grand Canyon • monsoon storms • desert wildlife • mountain forests • cactus blooms • endless highways • tacos • golf courses • and enough sunshine to power half the country. 🌵☀️💀
And somehow... all of it works.
Because beneath the blazing summers, surprise dust storms, endless sunshine, crowded freeways, and miles of beautiful desert...
Arizona became one of the few places where breathtaking scenery feels normal, every sunset looks photoshopped, monsoon season becomes a community event, and deep down... Arizonans secretly love every hot, dusty, unforgettable second of it. 🌵🌩️🌄❤️💀

I go to Washington DC every year to talk with our legislators and share the importance of home ownership and what it means to individuals & families. Generational wealth is built by owning property and homes. Unquestionably worth defending.

For 250 years, homeownership has been part of the American story. Throughout this series, we're highlighting what presidents from across our nation's history have said about homeownership, property rights, and the opportunities they helped create.

It was an honor and a privilege to attend the National Association of REALTORS®️ Legislative Meetings last week in Washington DC. Advocating for home ownership and personal property rights on behalf of all who are working towards the “American Dream”, and seeing that our efforts are truly making a difference, is totally worth my time away from family & clients. I for one, want to keep the Dream attainable for the next generations.

Arizona is taking action on title fraud—and that’s a big step forward.
-
But fraud doesn’t start at closing. It starts earlier, in the conversations agents are already having.
-
Legislation protects at the transaction. Agent Alert Pro connects the signals before it gets there.
-
That’s how prevention actually happens.
