🌎 This one is personal to me. 💞

I had the privilege of being the first notary involved in Montana’s e-Apostille pilot program (e-APP), and it remains one of the proudest moments of my notary career.

From the beginning, I saw the e-Apostille as more than a faster way to authenticate a document. I saw it as a global solution—and, in many ways, an issue of access and human rights.

It created possibilities for people in countries where war disrupted or eliminated reliable courier service, families navigating international adoptions, people facing visa issues, and ambitious business owners working to expand across borders.

I also believed strongly that when someone has a serious, time-sensitive need, the solution shouldn’t be priced out of their reach. I never wanted to take advantage of someone’s urgency. From the beginning, I worked to keep this service affordable and accessible to the people who truly needed it.

🚙 Here’s a helpful tip regarding vehicle titles

📞 I often receive calls from the purchaser asking me to notarize documents for a property transfer.

🖊️ In most cases, the signature that needs to be notarized is actually the seller’s. The purpose of notarization is to verify the identity of the person signing and to help ensure they are signing willingly. Some states do require both the buyer’s and seller’s signatures to be notarized, but that depends on the state’s laws and the specific documents involved.

💡 The good news? If the seller isn’t nearby, I can often still help! If you can provide the seller’s contact information, I can work directly with them to complete a Remote Online Notarization (RON) session, as long as the transaction and applicable laws allow.
