Have you named guardians for your children? Many parents assume a family member will automatically step in if something happens to them. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works.

Without legally naming a guardian, a court may have to decide who will care for your children. That process can create uncertainty, delays, and added stress for your family during an already difficult time. One of the most important parts of an estate plan for parents is choosing who would raise your children if you can’t.
