We're launching a limited-time program to help our friends at the Shelburne Food Shelf!

👮‍♂️ For ONE DAY ONLY (April 1st), if you drop off a non-perishable food item at the Shelburne Police Department, you'll receive a genuine, certified, almost totally legal "Get Out of Jail Free" card!

What can you use this card for?

Getting out of an awkward conversation!

Avoiding a boring chore!

Claiming the last piece of pizza!

Absolutely nothing related to actual police matters. (Wait, did we read the fine print?)

🍕 We need your help to stock the shelves at the Food Shelf!

Accepted items include:

Canned goods (soups, veggies, fruits)

Pasta and sauce

Cereal

Peanut butter

Non-perishable snacks

Effective 1 March 2026 we have new reporting requirements for residential real estate transactions that involve trusts and/or entities (LLCs, corporations, etc.). Join us in supporting the Hinesburg Fire Department Winter Gear drive!

The Hinesburg Firefighter’s Association is collecting gently used winter gear — jackets, snow pants, hats, mittens, warm socks, and boots — for children and adults now through Friday, November 14.

📍 Drop off donations at the Hinesburg Fire Station, Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Just ring the doorbell and someone will meet you!

📍 Can't make it to Hinesburgh? Our club will be taking donations on Wednesday, Nov 8th at our morning meeting. We'll be there from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the Shelburne United Methodist Church | 30 Church Street, Shelburne, VT 05482

All collected items will be distributed on Saturday, November 15 from 9 AM–12 PM, and everyone is welcome — you do not need to live in Hinesburg to receive gear.

🎃 The Halloween fun is almost here!

Join us for the 2025 Annual Halloween Parade & Party THIS SUNDAY at 2:00 PM, starting at the Shelburne Shopping Park and ending at the Town Office Center.

This year’s parade will feature nearly 20 floats and community groups, all bringing their spooky spirit and creativity to the streets of Shelburne!

🎶 After the parade, enjoy a special performance by students from the CVSD combined choruses outside the Town Offices from 3:00–3:20 PM - a perfect way to wrap up an afternoon of costumes, candy, and community fun!
