Some of you know, but most of you don’t… I have an assistant! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Meet Annelies!

Some of you may recognize her because she wears a few other hats around our community, but what you may not know is that she is also a licensed Realtor and will be assisting me in my real estate business! You’ll be seeing a LOT more of her, and I’m excited for you to get to know her!

One of the fun things about working together so far is discovering just how much alike we are. 😂 We both overthink things, ask a million questions, and want to make sure every little detail is taken care of. We’re both pretty hard on ourselves, which means we hold ourselves to high standards and put a lot of thought into the work we do.

Buying or selling a home is a big deal, and we both know it’s about so much more than just the transaction. The little details matter, communication matters, and making sure you feel taken care of every step of the way matters. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun along the way! Real estate can also come with some pretty hilarious moments (like finding a squirrel inside a drawer in a house 😂🐿️), and we believe there should be plenty of laughs along the way, too. At the end of the day, we want you to feel comfortable with us, know that we take our jobs seriously, and enjoy the process along the way… even when the unexpected happens!

Annelies will be an extension of me and the way I do business, but she also brings her own strengths and is more than capable of helping you on her own! I love that we can work together, learn from each other, and give our clients even more support along the way. ❤️

🏡 “How is the market?” 📊

This is a question I get asked very often so I thought I'd share a little update on what the housing market is doing compared to last year!

According to the latest September 2026 housing report from the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA), here's what we're seeing in Northeast Wisconsin:

🔹 Home prices are up 3.1%, with the median sale price reaching $330,000.

🔹 Closed sales are down 3.3% compared to September 2025.

🔹 Homes are averaging 68 days on the market, which is 3 days faster than this time last year.

📍 What about Shawano County? So far this year, we've seen fewer homes sell, and our year-to-date median sale price is slightly lower than last year.

🍂 Are we starting to feel a shift in the market? I would say yes! As we head into the cooler months, it's normal to see some seasonal changes in buyer activity. But that doesn't mean the market stops, or that every home is affected the same way. Pricing, condition, and location still make a big difference!

🏠 This is where knowing your local market and having the right Realtor in your corner really matters. Pricing your home correctly from the start can make a huge difference in how quickly it sells. The days of simply “testing the waters” with a higher asking price may be behind us. Overpricing can mean more days on the market, price reductions, and potentially missing out on serious buyers.
