Keep keeping on! Don’t let other women bring you down! I had this happen to me and it was a disaster. Stand up for yourself, especially in healthcare where most of the population is female. If you move up in your profession there will always be those who will be jealous they didn’t do the same! Be kind, be yourself don’t let them ruin your career seek help! Don’t continue to work at a job that demands more and more from you. No work life balance is not healthy, being pressured to stay late because work has to get done is not okay, suffering with silent treatment from not staying late is not okay, working long hours without breaks, having to beg to get paid all equals not okay! Contact your states labor and wage department.
