Same East Tennessee. Three very different real estate markets. 🏡

The latest 2026 year-to-date MLS data gives us an interesting look at what’s happening across Blount, Knox and Sevier Counties.

Blount continues to show a relatively steady market, with homes selling for an average of 98.5% of list price.

Knox leads the three counties in sales activity, with nearly 6,000 single-family homes sold so far this year and the shortest average market time at 58 days.

And Sevier? With 1,478 active listings, 123 average days on market and 859 expired listings, buyers and investors are seeing considerably more negotiating opportunity.

The takeaway isn’t that one market is simply “good” or “bad.” It’s that real estate is incredibly local.

The right pricing, marketing and negotiation strategy depends on where you’re buying or selling—and that’s where knowledgeable representation makes a difference.
