Beginning May 1, 2025, Lowrance Law Office and Hon. Jamie L. Lowrance will no longer be accepting new clients. Our office at 203 Pharr Avenue in Selmer will officially close on June 1, 2025.

Attorney Lowrance will continue working with current clients by appointment only.

We’re excited to share that Jamie has accepted a position with the State of Tennessee Public Defenders Office. Current clients will be contacted directly about how this transition may affect them.

Jamie, Lara, and their family are truly grateful for the trust, support, and friendships built over the years. It has been a privilege to serve the people of this community.

Update: AT&T is repairing a tower in our immediate vicinity. Verizon wireless users should not have issues reaching our office. However, AT&T wireless users may experience issues until the repair is complete. Estimated time for completion is 7/22/24.

Notice: Effective next Monday, July 13 all individuals entering courthouses or buildings that court business may be conducted are required to wear a face covering.

Please note that the requirement to wear face coverings applies to individuals who enter courthouses or buildings where the court is being held for the purposes of conducting court business either at the court clerk's office or in the courtroom.

For those individuals that cannot wear a mask due to underlying health issues the requirement to wear a mask is at the discretion of the presiding judge. We request that any clients of our office that fall in this category contact us within 10 business days prior to the court appearance.

Effective today, March 13, 2020, the Tennessee Supreme Court has issued an order banning all Courts of Tennessee from having in-person court appearances through March 31, 2020. This order applies to all court cases with the exception of emergency child protective orders, and proceedings necessary to protect the constitutional rights of criminal defendants who are currently incarcerated.

If you are a client of Jamie L. Lowrance with a court appearance, hearing, or trial set during the time frame between March 16, 2020 through March 31, 2020, it has been canceled and we will be in contact with you.
