The market is always changing, & here’s what you need to know 👀

Earlier this year, we were still seeing multiple offers, escalation clauses & homes selling above list price in many parts of the Seattle area. (& in some cases that’s still very much the case!) 🏠

But now, higher rates have pushed some buyers to the sidelines, but that shift has also brought more inventory, less competition & more room to negotiate.

Higher rates are a real consideration. But they’re only one piece of the equation.

For buyers, it’s not about rushing in or waiting for the “perfect” market. It’s about understanding what the market is giving you right now & looking at the full equation 🙂‍↕️

One of our favorite things about summer? The slower pace of the market gives us a little more room to be people - to spend time with family, chase hobbies, take a trip, get outside, & lean into whatever fills our cups.

& yes, we’re still out here listing, negotiating, closing, & taking care of our clients. 🏠 But we also believe there’s value in making space for the lives we’re working so hard to build!

Because at SCOUT, we’re not just Realtors. We’re golfers, travelers, parents, DJs, dog people, adventurers, friends, & a whole lot more! 🙂‍↕️

We also host multiple clock hour classes throughout the year, making it easy for our agents to stay educated, meet their license renewal requirements, & keep sharpening their skills.
