My car was repossessed! As a mobile notary public, I travel to five counties in Washington State to serve my clients and it is critical that I have a car. I have until July 29th to pay $6000 in order to get it back. I have applied for and been denied a loan by my credit union, and so am resuming my GoFundMe campaign. Please click the link below for further details.

If you are unable to give, please consider sharing on your page.

I'm at the Port Townsend Writers' Conference this week until Sunday, my second year in a row, and a MUCH needed break from unpacking and everything involved in restoring/rebuilding my life. I plan to start a new piece about my recent experience with homelessness. These are my digs for the week, and I bought the meal plan, so full room and board!

I went to today looking for tools so that I can finally put up shelves to clear this move-in mess. The vinyl LPs are right next to the elevator and this trip down memory lane, one of my all-time favorites from my teens, was sitting right in front within reach daring me not to buy her. Only $0.99. Less than 20 minutes later, I was listening to it at home and I'm delighted to report that THIS one exceeded expectations and was even better than I remembered.

I was recently displaced due to an apartment fire and spent four months alternating between the streets and cheap hotels. I finally got an apartment and moved in on May 1, 2026. I lost everything but the clothes on my back and am having to replace everything from clothes to kitchenware, furniture to toiletries. It's exhausting, daunting, and expensive! Please visit my GoFundMe campaign and consider donating any amount here: gofund.me/4bb0ab7ff.

Namaste! 🙏

I went to a networking event on Wednesday and ran into Jordan Kerbs, who managed my brother's coffee shop for several years. I only knew her peripherally until now, so it was lovely to get to know her better. And it turns out we're both represented by Melissa Baldauf at Big Fish NW!

So this just happened. I got this beautiful piano for free off of . All I had to pay was the minimal cost to move it. It's not been tuned in over 40 years, but that's an easy fix! Thank you, Lisa McDonald, for this lovely gift!

Hey, all, I found this website where you can nominate someone to receive rental assistance, which I badly need. Please take a moment to nominate me and spread the word! Please be sure to mention that I was displaced and homeless for three months due to an apartment fire; that I totaled my car and spent two weeks in the hospital, resulting in a massive medical bill; loss of job and income and unemployed; and that I have a new apartment but am at risk of eviction because I don't have next monthcs rent.

If you can, please share this with your anyone in your sphere who might want to nominate!

Namaste!
