Here are my Seattle and Eastside, third quarter 2026 Market Reports. Prices have dropped, and home inventory has risen significantly throughout the greater Puget Sound region in the third quarter, giving buyers far more homes to choose from, The average number of days homes are taking to sell has increased as well. These factors combined are giving homebuyers greater leverage and negotiating power when purchasing a home.

Fact: The market has shifted in favor of buyers.

Hello there. I’ve been living in King County for 29 years, prior to that I lived in Fargo North Dakota and Guam. I worked as a senior engineer for the last 15 years with King County, managing construction projects. I’m very excited to start my new career as a real estate broker with Cantu Group I The Griffin and begin helping people with the various transitions of buying and selling. This includes purchasing their first home, moving to their dream home, helping with investment properties, downsizing from lifetime homes, and assisting with probate estates. My name is May Chao. I’m a Marine Veteran and have been employed as a civilian in one of the military branches, assisting special needs families in navigating local resources in the area.

Through my experiences of moving across the country and now working with military families, I understand the emotional aspects and processes involved in moving, finding a place to again call home, and the importance of getting settled down again.
