When we tell people about the work we do, we often get asked what does systemic discrimination looks like. Here is an article about the WSP that touches on those issue. How the systems in place contribute to discrimination and the friction with dismantling those systems. Its a great read about how hard it is to make change.

We have seen a disturbing trend of for-profit companies using well-meaning people to "volunteer." Clever companies have convinced Washington employees to work for free by claiming the workers are "volunteers." These companies do not pay these employees even though the companies are making a profit off of their labor.
