Gurpreet earned her J.D. from Gonzaga and built her commercial and construction litigation practice at firms in Spokane and Portland, including an AmLaw 100 firm.

She was recently named a Washington Rising Star and is licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. A Kent native, Gurpreet is glad to be back home in the community where she was raised, closer to family and friends.

She brings experience clerking for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the District of New Jersey and holds her J.D. from the University of Maryland and degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Washington. We are pleased to announce that Isaac Prevost has been elected Shareholder at Carney Badley Spellman, effective July 1, 2026.

Isaac is an appellate advocate and commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex business and regulatory disputes. He brings deep experience in appellate briefing and oral argument, serves as embedded appellate counsel at the trial level, and represents clients before Washington State administrative bodies.

Among his recent highlights: securing a unanimous Washington Supreme Court decision on behalf of a county official in election recall proceedings, obtaining discretionary review to protect attorney-client privileged documents, and serving as special deputy prosecutor for a municipal entity on appeal.
