Received this lovely note from my clients today who I helped find a home while they close on their home in Ohio - this was a referral from a broker based in Ohio. We looked at over 15 homes, all of which I walked through and did a personal video call with them. We settled on a home located on Education Hill, Redmond that checked most all the boxes for them, but most importantly, they are just 2 miles from their daughter and grandbaby, the reason they are moving here. I am so excited for their new adventure and all the splendor I know they will experience in our beautiful state. They land in WA at the end of October. I am grateful for having the opportunity to work with this lovely couple and the happy ending leaves me feeling even more blessed!

The market has been cooling off consistently for several weeks, as more homes are available and demand is less. We have begun to see prices move lower as a result. This week the median list price for Seattle, WA 98109 (East Queen Anne and Westlake) is $1,695,000 with the market action index hovering around 39. This is less than last month's market action index of 46. If the MAI (Market Action Index) falls into the Buyer’s zone (30 or below), it is likely that prices will continue their downward trend.
