Thoughts???? A 76-year-old woman trusted the staff at her senior living facility to care for her. Instead, she died from injuries her caregiver caused. 💔

Here’s the story 👇

At Story Point Senior Living in Mequon, Wisconsin, staff member Abrianna Clark, 28, pushed a 76-year-old resident to the ground after the woman allegedly hit her with a ruler and broke her glasses.
The fall broke the woman’s femur.

Clark initially admitted to pushing her, telling a coworker “I pushed her” about five times. But when police arrived, she changed her story completely, claiming she never touched the woman and that she had simply fallen in the bathroom on her own.

The victim’s injury led to fatal complications months later. The medical examiner ruled her cause of death a “complication of left hip fracture.”

Prosecutors say the resident “appeared to be fearful of Clark” even before that day. Afterward, Clark allegedly warned coworkers, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that.”

Clark was convicted of second-degree reckless homicide and sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision.

This woman was in the care of people paid to protect her. Instead, her life ended because of it.

Here’s the story 👇

Richard Troshak worked at the Chester Early Childhood Learning Academy in Virginia. He filmed himself sexually abusing children in his care and shared the footage with another teacher, Shaun Jason Adams, who did the same and shared his own recordings back.

At sentencing, Troshak’s attorney argued that his client’s Ehlers-Danlos syndrome diagnosis should be taken into account. Judge David Johnson was not moved. Troshak received 565 years, with 110 suspended, leaving him with an active sentence of 455 years.

Adams pleaded guilty separately and was sentenced to 190 years, with 160 suspended, meaning he will serve 30 years.
These were young children who trusted the adults responsible for their care. Their families placed that trust in a school, and it was betrayed in the worst possible way.
Is a sentence like this enough to bring these families any sense of justice? 👇

Thoughts??? Chris Brown’s dog mauled his housekeeper so badly she suffered permanent disfigurement, vision loss, and nerve damage. A jury awarded her $13 million. Now he’s fighting to avoid even showing up in court. 😤

Here’s the story 👇

In 2020, Maria Avila was taking out the trash at Chris Brown’s home when his 200lb Caucasian Shepherd, Hades, attacked her. The dog ripped off large chunks of her skin. Surgeons had to graft skin from her abdomen just to repair her arm.
Instead of calling 911 or staying to help, Brown left the scene. He later testified he was afraid of a “media circus” if his voice ended up on the emergency call. He left his employees to handle it.

After a two-week trial, a jury found Brown and his company liable for negligence and awarded Avila $13 million. A judge ruled she can collect from his tour profits until it’s paid.

Now, Brown is refusing to appear for a court-ordered examination about his finances, claiming his tour schedule with Usher makes it impossible and that Las Vegas is too far from the Van Nuys courthouse.

She lost part of her face. He’s citing a scheduling conflict.

Thoughts??? A man was caught secretly recording people inside bathroom stalls on a college campus. And this wasn’t a one time thing. He allegedly admitted to doing this at least once a month for five years. 😤

Here’s the story 👇

Christopher Sutherland, 33, was caught Tuesday after someone inside a Noble Library bathroom spotted a phone being held over their stall and confronted him. When investigators searched his phone, they found dozens of videos of people inside bathroom stalls without their knowledge, with even more stored in Google Photos and on a computer at his home.

Sutherland allegedly told police he specifically came to campus to record men and had been doing so for years. He is not a student or employee at the university.

He was booked on burglary, criminal trespass, voyeurism, and unlawful viewing and recording charges.

People deserve to feel safe in a bathroom. This happened in a campus library where students go every single day.

Should the university also be held accountable for not having stronger security measures to prevent unauthorized people from entering campus facilities? 👇

Please keep this family in your prayers. 🙏💔 A 32-year-old man lost his life on his very first day as a sanitation worker in Gaffney, South Carolina. What makes this tragedy almost impossible to process…his father was the one driving the truck.

Here’s the story 👇

On August 17, John Derrick Dover was riding on the rear platform of a Cherokee County garbage truck alongside another worker as the crew emptied rollout carts along their route. Around 1:50 p.m., as the truck turned from Bonner Road onto Hayes Road, Dover fell from the platform and hit the pavement.

He was rushed to Spartanburg Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 3:26 p.m.
It was his first day. His father was driving.

“This is a most tragic incident as it was Dover’s first day on the job. What’s even worse, the truck was being driven by his father.” Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler.

Authorities have not confirmed why he fell. An autopsy is underway. Cherokee County officials have expressed their condolences and say they will provide more information once facts are confirmed.

No family should ever have to experience something like this. Rest easy, John. 🕊️

Thoughts??? A California couple asked their surrogate to terminate a pregnancy after the baby was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. She refused, gave birth in Texas, and now wants to keep the baby. The biological parents are countersuing her for over $100,000. 😳

Here’s the story 👇

McKenna West, a 28-year-old nurse from Alaska, agreed to carry a baby for Los Angeles couple Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed. At 20 weeks, the baby was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a rare and life-threatening congenital heart defect that requires multiple surgeries and leaves survivors facing lifelong medical care and serious health complications. The couple, citing a termination clause in their contract, asked McKenna to end the pregnancy. She refused.

McKenna gave birth in Texas, where the law states that if you give birth to a child, that child is legally yours. She is now fighting for parentage of the baby, whom she named Gabriel. He has already undergone a complex heart surgery and is recovering.

“Every life matters. No woman should be forced to end the life of the baby she is carrying — including me. Baby Gabriel should receive a chance at life.” McKenna West.

The biological parents paid McKenna $60,000 during the pregnancy and filed a countersuit weeks before the baby was born, seeking over $100,000 for breaching their agreement plus unspecified damages for what they call “malicious and outrageous conduct.” Since she refused to terminate, they have reportedly stopped paying her entirely.

This case now involves courts and officials in three states and has sparked a national debate on surrogacy and abortion rights.
