In Arizona, undercover officers often use Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, and other sport-style vehicles to monitor reckless driving and racing. If you choose to speed or race, even alongside an undercover officer, that usually does not qualify as entrapment under the law.

🚗⚖️ Arizona DUI interlock laws have changed and many people don’t know it.

If your DUI involved drugs (not alcohol), you may NOT be required to install an ignition interlock device.

Here’s what changed:
Drug DUIs (A.R.S. § 28-1381(A)(3)) do not require an interlock
Alcohol DUIs still do
Breath test refusals may avoid suspension by installing an interlock. You can now get credit for time already served with an interlock

These details can save you time, money, and your license but every case is different.
