Did you know the law doesn’t just cover financial losses after an injury?
Courts also recognize loss of enjoyment of life, also called hedonic damages.

This means if someone can no longer enjoy hobbies, sports, or daily activities due to an injury, they may be entitled to compensation for that loss.

It’s about more than pain — it’s about protecting quality of life.

🏛️ Understanding Arizona's Set Aside Law: A New Path Forward

Even after completing your sentence, a criminal conviction can create lasting obstacles.
Arizona's A.R.S. § 13-905 allows courts to "set aside" convictions and issue Certificates
of Second Chance, which can:

✅ Remove barriers to professional licensing
✅ Provide employment protections for employers
✅ Help with housing applications
✅ Restore firearm rights (in eligible cases)

This isn't the same as expungement or record sealing - your record remains visible but is
annotated to show rehabilitation. Our newest blog post breaks down eligibility, the
application process, and what happens after approval.

With 37+ years of experience, Chuck Franklin Law helps Arizona residents navigate this
complex process. Read our complete guide:
