We’re pleased to feature Joshua O., who recently joined the Sacks Tierney team, whose practice focuses on ADR, Business & Corporate, Civil Litigation, Construction, and Employment.

💭 What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
“One of my professional goals is to have a case in each of Arizona’s 15 counties. I’m currently at 12 out of 15, with La Paz, Apache, and Greenlee Counties remaining. Once complete, I hope to continue that journey by having a case within each of the Tribal Nations of Arizona’s First Peoples.”

Fourteen years is more than time, it’s a legacy.

As we celebrate Toni’s retirement, we reflect on the kind of impact that can’t always be measured but is deeply felt. Throughout her years with the firm as a Legal Administrative Assistant, Toni brought a steady sense of discretion, a quality her team spoke of often and with admiration. She carried herself with professionalism and grace, earning the trust of everyone she worked alongside.

But just as memorable was her cheerful spirit, an energy that lifted the day-to-day and made even the busiest moments feel lighter. Toni had a way of showing up fully, not just in her work, but in her relationships.

Working closely with Sharon B. Shively, Christopher D. Lonn, James W. Armstrong, David C. Tierney, and Steven R. Beeghley, Toni became an integral part of the team, someone relied on, respected, and truly appreciated.

Toni, your commitment to the practice, your unwavering professionalism, and the warmth you brought to this firm will not be forgotten. You leave behind not just years of service, but a lasting imprint on the people who had the privilege of working alongside you.

You will be deeply missed, and we wish you nothing but joy in this next chapter. đź’›

Some of the most important work goes unseen.

gives us the opportunity to pause and recognize something that’s core to how we operate at Sacks Tierney, the people behind the work.

Because the truth is,
it’s not the big gestures that define a workplace culture.

It’s the daily ones.

It’s taking the time to say thank you.
It’s recognizing the work that often happens behind the scenes.
It’s making sure people feel supported, not just when it’s expected, but consistently.

This week, we’re celebrating our administrative professionals in a visible way,
but their impact is felt in a thousand invisible ways, every single day.

Do they feel supported?
Do they feel seen?
Do they feel like their work matters?

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

At Sacks Tierney, we take pride in creating a culture where appreciation is built into how we show up for each other year-round.

Because when people feel valued, everything just works better.

Stronger teams.
Better work.
A culture people are proud to be part of.

To our administrative team, thank you for everything you do. Not just this week, but always!

P.S. This is just a snapshot of our admin team, we’re missing several who are equally part of what makes Sacks Tierney so special.

P.S.S. We LOVE Crema Collective (the coffee bar in this photo). They’re a mobile coffee bar serving the Valley. Their strawberry matcha is fantastic alongside their handcrafted delicious coffee menu.

✨What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
“My fun fact is that I have a genetic taste bud defect called dysgeusia, which causes a distorted sense of taste. When I eat food, I have no idea whether what I’m tasting is what the food is supposed to taste like!” — making every dining experience a bit of a mystery...

We’re grateful to have Brian’s experience and thoughtful approach supporting our clients and team. 📌Learn more about Brian’s experience and how he can support your legal needs by visiting the people section of SacksTierney.com.

The strength of our firm comes from a range of perspectives, experiences, and practice areas.

Throughout Women’s History Month, we highlighted several of the women of Sacks Tierney and the leadership they bring to our firm and our clients.

Their work reflects the depth of talent across our team, and we look forward to continuing to highlight our attorneys and the many ways they support the clients and communities we serve.

We’re feeling especially grateful this .

Sacks Tierney was recognized by Az Business Magazine as one of the 10 Best Places to Work in Law, as voted on by the public.

And this one means a lot.

Because it reflects something that’s core to who we are:
Representation that exceeds expectations, in how we advocate for our clients and we show up for each other.

At Sacks Tierney, many of our attorneys and team members have been with us for decades. That kind of longevity doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built on trust, collaboration, and meaningful work.

And… we’re growing.

We’ll be sharing a few upcoming opportunities next week and are excited to continue building a team of talented, driven individuals who want to do great work alongside great people.

If you’ve ever been curious about Sacks Tierney, this might be the time to take a closer look.
