A little friendly competition goes a long way when it’s for a good cause. 💙

Last week, Sacks Tierney’s Helping Hands volunteer group gathered at Vista del Camino Food Distribution Center to pack bags for Scottsdale Community Partners Healthy Packs program. The program provides kid-friendly, nutritious food to Scottsdale public school students who have limited access to food on weekends, when free school meals aren’t available.

We may have lost count of the bags, but our team’s goal was clear: fill as many as humanely possible! Behind each bag was a student we hoped would head into the weekend with one less worry.

Helping Hands brings our team together to serve the community throughout the year, and we’re proud of the care and enthusiasm they bring to every opportunity to give back. Thank you, Scottsdale Community Partners, for letting us be part of this meaningful work.

We are thrilled to congratulate Gabbi Curatola on passing the bar exam!

Gabbi is an associate at Sacks Tierney, where she supports the firm’s Business and Corporate practice area.

She earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, Gabriella gained valuable experience through the ASU Entrepreneurship and Small Business Clinic and the Probate Lawyers Assistance Project. She also served as Executive Operations Editor of the Arizona State Law Journal, where her article, “Skin in the Game: The Dangers Cosmetic Loot Boxes Pose Towards Minors and Their Violations of Gambling and Unfair Competition Laws,” was published in Volume 58, Issue 1.

Before attending law school, Gabbi earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Public Policy and in Psychology from Aurora University.

Outside the office, she enjoys powerlifting, baking, and reading.
