A radon level of 4.0 pCi/L leads to exposure that equals 200 chest x-rays annually or smoking eight ci******es per day.
At 8.0 pCi/L it's equivalent to 400 x-rays or 16 daily ci******es.
And if your level is 20.0 pCi/L that equals 1,000 chest x-rays per year or 40 ci******es per day.
Don't take on that risk. Mitigate problems and breathe safely.

We carry all of the appropriate policies so that our presence in your home doesn't leave you open to undue liability.
And remember, YOU get to choose who does the work in your home. If a mitigation system is needed in a home you are purchasing, don't let the sellers choose the cheapest (and often subpar) option. Your family will be breathing that air. Make an informed decision.

It's so important that daycares, schools, and homes are tested for . Anyone who is exposed to radon over a long period of time could be in jeopardy but little lungs are especially vulnerable.

In Dr. Ned Ketyer’s opinion, there should be no doubt that schools should test for radon — and test regularly. “The way radon works when it gets in the body is it damages DNA, and so that’s why radon is associated with cancer, especially lung cancer,” said Ketyer, a pediatrician
