Congratulations to the forthcoming owners of 58 Honey Bee Road, which went under contract in only 5 days!! It’s easy to see why this one flew off the market … it’s a delight from the moment you enter the property. This rare family compound is nestled on 2 acres yet just a short walk from the Coffee Bluff Marina and the water. Its double-height living space is a dream!

This one’s off the market now, but I have plenty of beautiful properties on my desk at the moment. Reach out at 912-401-9401 or [email protected].

The gentle sound of water. Spanish moss swaying overhead. A city moving at its own pace.

For more than 165 years, the Forsyth Fountain has stood as one of Savannah's most treasured landmarks. Inspired by European design and nestled within the city's most iconic park, it has become far more than a fountain; it's a symbol of Savannah itself.

It's where engagement photos are taken, visitors begin their explorations, and locals return again and again to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them.

Some landmarks define a place. The Forsyth Fountain captures a feeling.

And in Savannah, that feeling never gets old.

If these walls could talk, they’d tell a story of ambition, elegance, and the mysteries that have lingered for more than 150 years.

Built in 1867 for Civil War veteran Benjamin J. Wilson, this stately home overlooking Calhoun Square was considered one of Savannah’s most impressive residences of its time. With its striking architecture and prominent location, the house reflects Wilson’s desire to establish his family’s place within Savannah society.

But like so many historic Savannah homes, its story extends far beyond brick and mortar. Following personal tragedy and decades of changing ownership, the Benjamin Wilson House became the subject of countless local legends and ghost stories, earning a reputation as one of the city’s most talked-about historic residences.

Today, the home remains one of Savannah’s most recognizable architectural treasures, standing as a reminder that every historic facade holds layers of stories, some documented in history books and others passed down through generations.

Sometimes, the simple life is truly the best. In Savannah and the surrounding areas, there are so many gorgeous pockets of waterfront to enjoy, from wetlands and rivers to the beaches of Tybee Island.

Retirement in Savannah can look however you want it to, and that’s part of what makes it so special!

For some, it’s a turnkey riverfront residence with concierge amenities, sunset views over the Savannah River, and walkability to dining, shopping, and events at places like Eastern Wharf and River Street. No yard work. No maintenance. Just lock-and-leave convenience whenever travel calls.

For others, it’s a historic home tucked beneath the oaks in the heart of downtown Savannah, where mornings begin with walks to a favorite coffee shop, afternoons are spent browsing galleries or SCAD exhibits, and evenings end with dinner reservations just a few blocks away.

And for many families, it’s an island retreat on places like Isle of Hope, Wilmington Island, or The Landings—a private, peaceful setting where children and grandchildren can visit for long weekends filled with boating, fishing, beach days, and dinners on the porch.

Savannah offers retirees so much more than beautiful homes. Residents enjoy mild winters, rich culture, incredible restaurants, access to golf and marinas, nearby beaches, a thriving arts scene, and an international airport that makes travel remarkably easy.

It’s a city where life can feel relaxed without ever feeling quiet … historic yet evolving, sophisticated yet deeply welcoming.

Whether retirement means slowing down, entertaining more, traveling often, or finally living exactly how you’ve always imagined, Savannah has a way of making that vision feel effortless.

Summer is right around the corner, and that means it’s Leopold’s season! Although, in the Hostess City, this famous ice cream parlor is a year-round delight. One of Savannah’s true long-standing icons, Leopold’s is a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Did you know they’ve been in business since 1919? How great is that?

Share your go-to Leopold’s flavor in the comments! 🍦

The Starland District is where Savannah’s creative energy comes alive. ✨

What was once an industrial area has transformed into one of the city’s most exciting and eclectic neighborhoods, filled with local art, indie businesses, unforgettable food, live music, and a vibe that feels effortlessly cool. It’s the kind of place where you can spend an entire afternoon hopping from coffee shops to breweries to boutiques without ever running out of things to discover.

Grab coffee and a pastry at Foxy Loxy Cafe, browse vintage finds and oddities at Graveface Records & Curiosities, meet friends for food trucks and outdoor hangs at Starland Yard, or sip local craft beer at Two Tides Brewing Co. Looking for cocktails? Lone Wolf Lounge and Water Witch Tiki are neighborhood favorites. The district is also packed with murals, galleries, maker spaces, and locally owned shops that give the area its unmistakable personality.

For buyers looking to experience Savannah beyond the historic squares, the Starland District offers something special: a neighborhood that feels artistic, authentic, walkable, and constantly evolving.
