Bond is under scrutiny in Savannah and Chatham County, after a string of violent crimes spanning back to March 7 where the suspects were out on bond, violating the terms of their release.

Today, the District Attorney’s office announced the dismissal of all charges against Mr. Rakeem Carlton in connection with the tragic death of Ms. Hannah Brown. While Mr. Carlton is immensely relieved that the truth has finally come to light, his thoughts remain with the family of Ms. Brown during this difficult time.

Mr. Carlton has always maintained his innocence and is grateful that justice has ultimately prevailed. The recent indictment of a key witness and law enforcement officer for misconduct underscores the grave injustice he has faced. Being wrongfully accused of such a serious crime has been an incredibly painful experience for Mr. Carlton and his loved ones.

Mr. Carlton would like to express his deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Brown. He understands that no words can ease their pain, and his heart goes out to them as they continue to grieve their loss.

As he begins the process of rebuilding his life, Mr. Carlton hopes that this case serves as a reminder of the importance of integrity and fairness in our justice system. He is committed to moving forward and is thankful for the support of those who believed in his innocence from the beginning.

Our team spent 9 days fighting for our young client and today it paid off with a verdict of NOT GUILTY to Charges of Malice Murder, Felony Murder, and Attempted Armed Robbery. It wasn't a clean sweep but it was damn close.

Tim isn’t Irish but today is his lucky day! ☘️

He spent over 7 months incarcerated waiting for his trial and today he was acquitted of all charges including Aggravated Assault and False Imprisonment.
