Redfin just released their latest housing market update (June 4, 2026) — and the numbers tell an interesting story:
📉 New listings dropped 1.3% in a single week — one of the biggest declines all year. Why? Mortgage rates just hit 6.53%, their highest point since August 2025. When rates go up, sellers pull back because they're not sure buyers can afford it.
But here's the twist — prices are STILL rising. The median http://U.S. home sold for $398,854 last month, up 2.3% from a year ago. And in San Francisco, prices are up a whopping 11.8% year-over-year.

💡 What does this mean for you?
