FAKE FLORIDA DOCTOR ARRESTED: A woman in Miami, Florida, has been arrested after investigators say she was working as a doctor without a medical license. Mayling Maya-Giraldo, 31, reportedly advertised her services on Instagram and showed her doing procedures of Botox injections, lip fillers, and endolifting. The Florida Department of Health confirmed that she was not licensed to practice any health profession or administer Botox in Florida. The product she used in her office was determined to be “ Toxta,” which is a prescription-only product that is manufactured in South Korea and not approved for use in the U.S. Maya-Giraldo was apprehended by authorities and is now facing multiple felony charges and is being held on an immigration detainer.
